Moving about and practising sport has never been so fun. Move&Play, the new frontier of fitness combining physical exercise and the child’s desire for fun and creativity, is arriving this winter at the Palavela in Turin, where parents and their children can at last agree on the time spent exercising and playing video-games.

The aim is to encourage children to get up off the couch and away from the TV, and have fun with active video-games where movement plays a central part.

It has proven a great success in America, so much so that there are already about 300 active gaming XRKade-Move&Play centres in the United States and Canada alone. A few months ago Michelle Obama, who is actively involved in the fight against childhood obesity, visited the XRKade research centre at the University of Florida and was so impressed that she formed a partnership between XRKade and her own organization, Let’s Move.
